The girls were having a blast playing outside today. This may be the last REALLY nice day for a while. They made nests in the pile of leaves. We played outside most of the day. ...Well, I did a lot of leaves and Fall clean up, but it was still a great day.

The whole family is feeling better, getting over these colds. Rebekah has the right anti-biotics now to get over her pneumonia. She is doing a TON better!

Marathon Season Complete

Well, I've completed 2 marathons this year, Providence and Baystate. I enjoyed each of them thoroughly, but I am a little disappointed I was not able to make the cut for the Boston Marathon. Hopefully I'll be able to get a waiver to race Boston. If I HAD qualified, I might be in tears right now... Registration was over in 8 hours! Usually a couple of months to close up registration is fast, so I probably would NOT have registered on Monday. Crazy!

Next year will be all about 'fun runs', and taking a stab at winning the Grand Prix with my racing club the Colonial Road Runners for my age group in 2011. I have 3 more races to complete in our 'Grand Prix' series for this year. I am currently in 4th place, and looking to take 2nd or 3rd by the end of this. I took most of the races earlier in the year at a slow place because I was in 'training' mode. Next year it's all about SPEED. I'm really looking forward to next years training.... Month to month training rather than 4 months of training for one race.

Midlife Crisis? No, not really...

We did it! We bought a second car. It's used but it runs nice and was a fantastic price. We did a lot of research on the Mazada Miata and it is a low maintenance car, gets good gas milage, and hey - we'll look awesome in it! It's only 2 seats but we don't need anything bigger than that. Don't you just love it?! We do!!

I can do it!

The girls used anything they could to get the ornaments high on the tree. Nana helped re-arrange some, but Thing 1 and Thing 2 got most of the higher ornaments on the tree.

Christmas Time!

All the girls working hard on Christmas decorations. Nana and Becky got the ornaments out and lined them up while the 3 little ones decorated the trees. Everyone had a great time!

4 Generations

The girls drove to Western Mass to visit with GG. They all had a wonderful time and GG enjoyed the visit with all her girls. Luckily they got the visit in before the weather made a turn for the worse this week.
